If someone holds another currency
The rent share can leave from what they hold.
A USD balance against an SGD lease is still one send. Conversion runs on the hop, or they convert first in Starryblu.

The converted share and the rate appear on confirm. You are not guessing the leftover to the leaseholder.
No extra conversion fee
Auto or manual, conversion has no extra fee. The ID send stays S$ 0.

Who collects, whether the ID changes, and what a wifi split costs.
Who do I send rent to?
Send to the roommate whose name is on the lease or who already paid the landlord. Search their Account ID, phone, or email. Confirm the name every time.
Do I need a new send set-up each month?
No. Reuse the ID you already confirmed. Each month is still its own ID Transfer — there is no standing order product in ID Remit.
A new housemate is not on Starryblu. Can they collect wifi?
Yes. They generate a receive link in the official app. You pay that link. Skip any link that did not come from Starryblu.
I hold a different currency than the rent. Can I still send my share?
Yes. Send from the balance you have. Conversion runs in the same hop, or convert first. No extra conversion fee. The rate is on the confirm screen.
Is a S$ 35 wifi share worth sending on ID Remit?
Yes. The ID transfer fee is S$ 0 at any size, and they do not pay one to receive. Arrival is within 1 second after you confirm.
