Trip map and camera — settle travel shares with ID Remit

What stacks up

The trip has a pace. The shares should too.

Deposits, taxis, a grocery run in a city you leave tomorrow. You settle while you still remember who paid — not in a spreadsheet after you fly home.

Stay

The room went on one card

Airbnb, a hostel, a night train berth. Pay back the person who held the booking.

Days

Food and rides in between

A market shop, a taxi to the station. Small, frequent, still worth sending the same day.

The group

Not everyone holds the same cash

One person floats the deposit. The rest catch up before the next city.

Paying from the road

Find them. Send. Keep walking.

You are not opening a local bank in every city. You look up the person who already paid, or scan if they are next to you in the lobby. Ways they can get paid

  1. 01

    Search the person who booked

Account ID, phone, or email. Match the name, send only your share of that stay or meal.

  2. 02

They can collect without an account yet

If they are not on Starryblu, they share a receive link from the official app. You pay that link. Skip unofficial pages.

  3. 03

    QR in the lobby

Still together at check-in, they show a receive QR. You scan, check the name, send before bags go upstairs.

The city is another currency

Pay the share in what you already hold.

The room is in EUR. Your balance is SGD. That is still one send. Conversion runs on the hop, or you convert first in Starryblu.

The rate is on confirm

You see the converted share before you tap. You are not guessing what they get after a taxi.

No extra conversion fee

Auto or manual, conversion has no extra fee. The ID send stays S$ 0.

On a moving trip

Lots of small hops. None of them add a fee.

Travel shares pile up. The ID transfer fee does not — in or out. See the price list

FAQ

Trip shares, asked on the move

Who you pay, what if they are offline, and whether a taxi share is worth sending.

Who do I send to when we are splitting a trip?

Send to the person who already paid the hotel, the taxi, or the groceries. Search their Account ID, phone, or email, or scan their QR. Confirm the name.

Can one send cover the whole group’s trip?

No. Each person sends their own share as a separate ID Transfer. ID Remit does not split a booking across a group for you.

They are not on Starryblu and we leave in the morning. Can they still get paid?

Yes. They generate a receive link in the official app. You open that link and send the share. Skip any link that did not come from Starryblu.

The stay is in another currency than I hold. Does the share still work?

Yes. Send from the balance you have. Conversion runs in the same hop, or convert first. No extra conversion fee. The rate is on the confirm screen.

Is a S$ 18 taxi share worth sending while we travel?

Yes. The ID transfer fee is S$ 0 at any size. It arrives within 1 second after you confirm, so you can send it before the next ride.

From the road
